Awesome!

Very well put together and extremely informative! The company I work with sells accessories for many Apple products and this has been a valuable tool for keeping consistent with naming conventions and differences between products. Thank you!

Keeps getting better

I’m so grateful people like developer Ian Page keep making nice looking, very useful, free software. I am a Mac technician and this has been my go to resource for Mac model information for a couple years now.

Essential

I’ve been using this since it first came out. It’s essential to my work and the first place I go when I want information about anything Apple. Thanks, guys. It just gets better and better.

Indispensable!

If you ever have any questions about the specs of your Apple product, or one you are thinking about buying, there is no better place to look than Mactracker! I have no connection to whoever makes this, but I would encourage you to hit the Donate button in the toolbar if you find the application useful. We need to keep great resources like this alive.

Amazingly Organized

This app gets frequent updates of all the products that apple puts out. It includes a very detailed and organized info for each and every model of any product.

A Great Reference Tool for anything Mac

As someone who has for years, (Since 1986 with my Mac Plus, then Newton, Performas, etc) torn apart and repaired Macs, I find that Mactracker has always given proper and concise information regarding all versions and models of Macs made. It is a simple yet invaluable tool meant to give you any specs for any Mac made, and it does so with a simple and easy to understand interface. The Notes section with Links for vintage and legacy products is great as well as the tab for my models. ( it can, with a click, show me all information on any one of my 8 Apple Products that I presently use) The fact that it also covers all Apple Devices as well as OS’s is a treat for old timers like myself who have, and have played with so many of them! If you value Apple products and their legacy, this is an excellent App to donate to, as it is so much easier than ANY resource I have found for all things Apple. I have no personal relations or knowledge with the Author of this App, but I thank him for a great resource!

Great Reference Tool - Needs an Update

It’s like an Apple device encyclopedia with information on devices going back to the beginning of Apple but does need an update for current devices such as the iPhone 6S and new iMacs.

Amazing Resource

This app for years has been my resource for all things Mac. I would sit there for hours looking at the specs of old Macintoshes of the past. It’s a beautiful thing to be able to have a resource like this. It also makes me happy as a Mac user to know that a resource like this can exist for my computers. Imagine if someone made something like Dell Tracker or HP/Compaq Tracker how convoluted they would be..! Even now, things get updated, and I see things like how my Macbook from Mid 2010 can accept up to 16GB of RAM. Without this app, would it be as easy to know a fact like this? Helping a friend buy his Mac on Craigslist and being able to fact check and see what to expect from what he’s buying, just like that. It’s amazing. I sent a donation over to Ian Page. He’ll probably get many more. Because this app has been joy for me and continues to be pure joy. If I had one request, it would be to bring back the old Mac boot sounds. The sound of the Power Mac 5200 and 6100 send chills down my spine. I’d love to have that sound resource again.

Mactracker needs an update!

Mactracker needs an update to add the following new products: iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPad mini 4, iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015), iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, Late 2015), iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2015), Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse 2, Magic Trackpad 2. Get on it!

A Must Have for all Mac owners!

Mactracker Is a geeky must have app for all owners of mac hardware that helps keep track of all new and old changes to macs iPads iPhones and so on. I find It very helpful in comparing models and design updates. This app is basically a labour of love to all things Apple.

Useful!

I can’t tell you how many times this App has made life easier for me. A must-have for the Apple enthusiast.

AWESOME SAUCE

This is by far a great and amazing and informative app. It has every Mac, iPod, iPhone, software that Apple has made that you can think of. It gives you info on RAM, Hard drive storage, even the price and if it went down. Super informative and without the run around and hassle of trying to scope the internet for what is or might not be the correct information. They’re also up to date. When the iPhone 6S came out, guess who was running the information on it…Mac Tracker. A great app to have in your arsenal.

Excellent Program

Excellent program and works great, it let’s you know what the computer is able to be updated too, etc. Love this program and rely on it quite a bit especially when dealing with older Mac products.

Great App!

Never a problem with this app.

Great Apple Product History and Information App!

This app has a wealth of information on every apple product that has ever been created from the beginning of apple computer history!Useful for anyone wanting to look up information on any product you ever owned up to now, general historical research on apple products, stroll down memory lane, see what you missed as a pc user, and research in preparation for a new purchase or selling.I recommend this essential app to pretty much every person owning any apple product!

totally inaccessible for voiceover users

You would think this app would be accessible for voiceover users, however it is not, and Im very not happy about this as I use the ios counter part and that is very accessible. Please make this wonderful utility I use every day on ios accessible to osx users.

Great for ever
