Deserve a five stars.

I have been using this app for what seems like forever. It’s one of those mac gems that is just constinetally updated and just does what it promises doesn’t try to be anything else. I love it! So handy.

I used MacTracker for years while working in a repair shop and it was often quicker than using Apple’s own product lookup tools. I still break it out when I want to figure out which Mac a friend has, how much RAM is supported, or just need to satisfy my curiosity.

I’ve been using this forever, it’s a great resourse and always keps up to date.

Regularly updated shortly after Apple has new offerings, the developer continues to support this app after all these years. This is my go-to source for need-to-know info about my Apple gear. Detailed tech specs, what software shipped when, MacTracker covers all manner of Apple devices— desktops, laptops, displays, phones, watches, new gear, old gear, vintage gear, and more. You can use it to list of all your own gear, including warranty support, especially useful for insurance purposes. Well organized, all information is easily accessed. I use it several times a week to answer any number of questions like: What OS did this Mac ship with? Whats the latest OS that Mac will support? Can I upgrade the memory in this one? What video chipset does that one have? Processor? Connectivity? When was it made? When was it EOLed? Is that a Late 2008 or Early 2009..? Its my one-stop source of highly detailed info, and no Internet connection is required to use it. Its a truly great, must-have app.

It’s like an Apple device encyclopedia with information on devices going back to the beginning of Apple and regularly updated - highly recommended.

If you’re an avid Mac user like myself you’ll love it! I find it so interesting and neat that all Mac, iPod, iPhone, iPad, MacBooks, EVERYTHING is listed on here whether it was successful or not. Being 21 and relatively new having only 4 years of owning an actually MacBook or iMac its very cool to see the history unravel with the click of a mouse. If you are interested in Apple then this is a very cool app to have and explore with.

This app is great and has every Mac, iPhone, iPad, and iPod model that I looked for. It would be better if the scrolling was improved as it is not perfectly smooth. Overall 5 out of 5 stars.

This little app is a lot of fun if you’re a true Apple fan and need to know every last thing about every last Mac, iPhone, iPad, etc., that was ever built. Exact specs, discontinuation dates, constantly updated even with iterative updates. I love it!

Works as advertised… Always up to date… Very useful...

Up to date, easy to use, and nicely organized. I end up doing a lot of repairs on computers for friends and family, and now I just keep the system records in here so I can order parts/give support easily whenever I’m asked. Nice work!

I use this almost daily, and it saves me so much Googling. The iOS version is great too for when I find a Mac at the pawnshop or Goodwill and don’t have Internet. It gets installed on all of my OS X and iOS devices.

This app is awesome I have to say but can you please add the iMac 21.5 and 27 inch (2014)?

it needs a share option to share it on common social sites if it had that i would be happy

I have been using this for a while now. I can track all of my Apple products through here. Great for home use. The only thing that I wish it had was syncing support. If you reload your computer or get a new one, you may lose your information you entered. iCloud, Dropbox, etc. syncing would make this 5 stars. You can however export your systems if you need to, but syncing would be easier. The app is constantly updated and quickly adds the latest versions of the apple products so it’s not abandon ware.

This is a great app. They’re always keeping their information up to date

I had an issue with my Mac Book Pro and was easily able to determine if it was under warenty and the specifications of my computer. Love this app!
