This application has saved me an incredible amount of time and uncertainty, just the simple This Mac function saves a lot of grief. You might think you wont likely need this sort of resource (especially when your machine is the current model)… just wait and you will find it handy. I have been through several updates, so I know it is being kept current. This is me being very pleased :-)

Hello, Mactracker is an admirable program and performs flawlessly, but Im not able to update the app. When I click "Update" in the App Store, it simply says, "An eror occurred" and nothing more. (Hence my rating – the app itself is great; it just wont update.)

This app is a great wealth of all the technical specs for Macs, iDevices, iOS, Mac OS, OS X and other things Apple. Not only does it show useful thing like specs, what OS a machine could handle etc; but it lets you compare machines side by side! A great wealth of knowledge that everyone should have at their fingertips!

Been using this for years, now conveniently available in the app store. I use this a surprising number of times to look up details on all the Macs we have at our company, and details of various iOS devices. Very handy as a developer to remember capabilities and limits of all sorts of Apple gear over the years. Regularly maintained with up-to-date information.

This is one of my favorite applications on the Mac. Full of history and very well put together. It is easy to find the information you are looking for.

Ian does an awesome job of keeping this app up to date with the most current line-up of Apple products both current and obsolete. Has the ability to track your own mac details such as extended warranty expiration date. Has a complimentary iPhone/iPad app as well, you don’t need both but I recommend it if you are purchasing used Mac’s on the road and can quickly look up the default specs within seconds. LOVE this app!!!

I’ve been using MacTracker for at least ten years — always my go-to resource for information about older hardware. Fantastic app.

My mac’s info is wrong in many fields. uninstalled promptly.

愛用してましたが、Mountain Lionにアップデートしたら起動しなくなりました。 Mactrackerを削除して、再度インストールしたら正常に起動しました。 ２０年間の購入記録をMy Historyに入れてたのも、ちゃんと残っていて安心しました。

The current version of Mactracker addresses earlier complaints of crashing under Snow Leopard. Great resource that presents its data in clearly structured and easy to navigate manner. Well worth the download.

Un grazie di Cuore Allo sviluppatore, troppe volte non sono riuscito a sapere quale hardware montava un certo mac o ipad ecc, ma ora è tutto chiaro grazie a questa app. Thanks at the developer with my heart, too many times I failed to know with what hardware was equipped a mac or ipad etc, but now everything is clear thanks to this app.

Great little utlity for checking the specifics of nearly all Apple devices ever made.
